Our Story

Eivac Commodities Inc., based in Montreal, Canada, stands out for its expertise in the trading and brokerage of raw materials, as well as its specialized solutions in international business. With offices and partners in countries such as the United States, China, India, Brazil, France, Togo, Benin, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Burkina Faso, we are well-positioned to serve our clients on a global scale.

We started in 2016 as a commodity broker in Benin. We helped Indian and Chinese buyers to mobilize some quantities of non-gmo Soybeans without taking any risk. 2 years after, we extended our products to Cashew nuts and pineapple.  After 1 year, we started the experience of trading to the international market.

Having more than 5 years of experiences, We started by investing in Africa by supporting many cooperatives and producers.  Then, we negotiate with them, buy their products according to the predetermined price or sometimes according to the market price plus a margin. After, we resell it to the international market. Founded in Canada in 2021, we started organic product trading which is a field highly regulated by Ecocert and very strict.

Incorporated in 2022, We currently trade agricultural products such as ORGANIC SOYBEANS certified by Ecocert under the Canadian Organic Regime (COR) with an US Organic equivalence and ORGANIC SOYBEANS Certified under the Indian Organic Regime (NPOP), NON-GMO SOYBEANS, ICUMSA 45 SUGAR, YELLOW AND WHITE CORN, various VEGETABLE OIL and WHEAT.

Dealing with cooperatives, collectors, transporters, organic products certifier, cleaners, Quality controller, and the storage management, while reducing risks in the supply-chain management,  lead us to be more competitive and attractive on the international market. Our goal is to help End Buyers to find out the commodities they are looking for with the best quality and price while promoting African products and dealers.

Our services

How we do it?

- We mainly source our products from Africa (Benin, Togo, Ivory Coast, Burkina-Faso, Senegal, Mali, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt, etc.). We work and finance many cooperatives in Africa, so that we can purchase the good products at the good price and at the good time. We transport , store, treat them with the good packaging and ready to export to international market. For Organic products we take care of each step in the supply chain to conserve the organic traceability. Contact us to make a purchase!

- With physical assets, some key factors impact the supply chain and impact the commodity prices. Since our credibility depends on our financial health and in turn depends on our trades, We do our best to get deep insights on the evolution of the commodity trading prices. We are always connected to 7 main markets: The Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group (CME Group), Euronext, the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE Futures U.S. and Europe and Abu Dhabi),  South African Futures Exchange (SAFEX), Brasil, Bolsa, Balcao (B3), Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE), ICEX. We also understand the the end-to-end supply chain impacts. That helps us to do a good trade and leads us to be very competitive on the market and then very attractive for end buyers.

- Soybean futures are one of the most widely-traded commodities futures products in the world.  So, we trade with the futur market for conventional products only to hedge price risk. Especially, we don’t use futur market for West African commodities because the market is not yet adapted, but we use other strategy to hedge African commodities prices mouvement risk. Many other risks such as (FX rate risk, Political risk, Weather risk, economical risk, etc..) are also anticipated. Our team experiences help us manage well all risks occurred during the life of each of ours contracts.

- When we are not familiar with a new buyer, we require working with some financial instruments such as Letter of Credit (LC’s at usuance or at sight), Stanby Letter of credit (SBLC), Documentary letter of Credit (DLC), Bank garantee, etc…This help us to reduce or eliminate default risk.

- TRADE FINANCE: Consequently, we are very familiar and work with Structured Commodity Finance (SCF) into our Soft Commodities classes. It’s a means of risk mitigation to reduce our exposure to a single commodity. SCF helps us to mitigate any supply, demand or price shocks. SCF provide liquidity management and risk mitigation for the production, purchase and sale of commodities.

- We are not only focused on Africa market. We also negotiate for our Asian customers, millions of tons of soft commodities from Canada, USA, Brazil, Argentina, France, India, Taiwan, Vietnam, etc...We work hands in hands with our partners around the world in order to perform the increasing and excessive demand around the world.
